New Music to listen to this Week -wRap Discovery
The 4-10th October, 2021 week was epic. We received Lagum The Rapper’s RZR, Baby Jesus from Waade and African Music from Azawi. Here is The NL wRap.
Hey there given the fast pace that projects drop you might miss out a number of tracks or even not realize they did drop. So allow me introduce you to the NuveyLive wRap Discovery series that will allow me curate, look up new music that has dropped from the previous week or we didn’t know was released so as I can put it in one place for you to check it out.

That out of the way here is music from last week and a week earlier. October 4th – 9th
The past week has been has been so exciting. From Lagum The Rapper releasing new music earlier than exp[ected to Azawi dropping her debut album African music featuring a verse from Fik Fameica on “Majje“.
JC Muyonjo dropped his Afrosphere album a while back featuring rappers Tucker HD, So Severe, Muhinder, Ebrahim Soul’O, 1der Jr, Alvin, Wake and singer Lamu. He got on The NuveyLive Podcast to discuss it. Listen in to the podcast here>>
Drillz -This Vibe (Deluxe). Drillz for the course of his career has released over 5 EPs and a number of singles and about a week ago dropped his debut album This Vibe which has an afro beats vibe. The album features rappers Curtis, Larry, Kenyan artist Omie K, producer Hxwrd, guest artist Trishiana, and Simz who features on the bonus track “Don’t Get Me”

1der Jr has given us more music than we deserve, he is has unlimited access to the stu and is creating almost every single week. Here is one the many songs dropped this year.
About last week: The music
Lagum dropped the log teased RZR (Razor) which, Big Tril cosigned it. The ten tracks album features already released singles “Kampala” featuring BB and “Some Way”. On the Apple music charts for Uganda the top five albums trending up for the weekend included RZR.
The hard working rapper Waade, with a large discography and consistently releasing music for a long time, teamed up with Zambian rapper Paul P{ayne 837 for the “Baby Jesus”. PS I got him on the Podcast this week so tune in on Friday.
J Watts also came through with a new single “Just Like That” after a few months of quiet. The Trendsetter promises to drop more later this year. Listen here
