Ebrahim Soul’o and The Mith talk love on “Nyenda Iwe”
Ebrahim Soul’o is here! Having garnered attention for himself during the Pearl of Africa Star search and MTN Cypher 2022 competitions, the rapper, singer and producer is not turning back.
In Lusoga, the phrases “nyenda iwe” mean I love you.
“Nyenda Iwe” is the latest from the alternative rapper who marries soul, and poetry in his music whenever possible. On this new project, he features The Mith. Both rappers express and deliver heartfelt bars.
The OG, The Ugandan The Mith is always open to working with artists of all walks – something he has done for years. His last album (The Ugandan 2020) had him working with different generations of artists. We enjoy how he keeps in sync with the culture. Jumping on “Nyenda Iwe” shows how flexible he is.
To be honest, this project produced by Soul’o is a breath of fresh air. Not the usual kind of releases you may find out there. Ebrahim adds his soul and unafraid to sing and rap.
For The Mith, his verse might have been written for an actual person, If we base our assumptions off the tweet he made shortly after the release of the song.
Do you think he actually wrote this for a special someone? Comment below.
