Blaylock, Sayanide & Omulenzi Caution have released the Communion EP
Blaylock Rawscarz, Sayanide and Omulenzi Caution have long teased their Communion EP with singles like the club themed “Kyuka” and “Yeah Yeah”.
The 21 minutes EP executive produced by Papa Stein is an introduction of the trio (not yet named) affiliated to HouseOvStone. The project explores Kampala night life, slay queens, the grind, brother hood/faimily, lyricism, and chasing paper as expressed on the titular single “Communion”.
The Communion EP is a 6 tracks project that was recorded at Port Bell Drive with production handled by Nase Avatar and by Papa Stein of HouseOvStone.
A newer version of “Kiwani” with new verses and an addition of Rawscarz also features as the three rappers speak of their ordeal with their supposed lovers. They narrate their tales asking “why they lying”.
The EP presents us likely some of the best verses we are to hear this year. In their distinct delivery and uniqueness, ease and harmony the trio shares is remarkable as they make us dance, sing along and tell stories.
